The Company has closed its books of accounts for the financial year ending 31st March-2000 with a turnover of Rs. 1979.40 lacks. Ajeet Seeds Limited is a closely held unlisted public limited company.
Authorized share capital of the company at Present is Rs. 2000.00 lacks out of which 1800.00 lacks is allotted as a fully paid up. The promoters hold all the share of the Company.
The Company is one of the largest of producer & processor of hybrid cotton seeds in India, its two varieties of cotton seeds namely “Ajeet-11” & “Ajeet-33” are most popular among the farmer in India and this varieties stood first in hybrid trials conducted at National level by Central Institute for Cotton Research.
The Company has an original, well-documented bank of more than one lack germplasum of fiber crops, cereals, oil-seeds & vegetables.
The company has a production facility for about 800MT for cotton seeds and 2400 MT for Cereals, Pulses, Oil seeds & Vegetables. The company has four branches at Hyderabad, Indore, Baroda and Bellary for marketing, besides four production center. Its registered office is situated in Aurangabad and Processing plant at Chitegaon. (15 km. Away from Aurangabad) The company holds Marketing & Processing Licenses for various seeds in all major states i.E.
Maharashtra, Karnatak, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat, Rajastan, Punjab & Haryana of India.
The company has been recording a 20% average growth in sales for the past three years, the profit before tax have been growing at an average of 100%.
The company having a sales network of more than 300 authorized distributors under which more than 10000 sub dealers are operating all over India.
The company has 500 acres of agricultural land for carrying out its various research activities.
The company is having well educated and experienced staff.
The company has got recognition of in house R & D unit from Govt. Of India, Ministry of Science & Technology.
